My son (Darrick Peartree) & I would just like to say Thank You a thousand times over for an experience of a lifetime!!! This year's USA World Showcase proved to be a lifetime memory for us both. To experience the level of professionalism and kindness exemplified from the staff, judges, and the contestants and their families was second to none. Darrick was a trophy winner and he is still bubbling over with glee!!! Darrick also said that you made his day by allowing him to meet the cast of "The Star Trek Experience." We can't get over the attention to detail that the professional/celebrity judges offered to all of the contestants. The opportunity to network with the other contestants, judges, talent scout, agents, etc. was and is a pertinent part of Darrick's dream of becoming a recording artist. We have developed some lifelong friendships as a result of USA World Showcase. This experience was such a blessing for me, Darrick and I know that we can speak for all who attended and competed.
All we can say is WOW & WOW spelled backwards!!!

Dear Jennifer and David,
We just arrived back home to Alberta, Canada.We just wanted to say thank-you to you and David and to all of your judges for a great opportunity to compete in the USA World Showcase Competition in LasVegas on May 24, 2008. I thank-you for making my first competition a rewarding experience. I wouldn't have traded it for the world. It was wonderful meeting you, David and the judges in person at the after party. I was thrilled at the opportunity to network with all the competitors and judges from around the world. I must say, the competitors were first class and the entire experience was one I will remember for a lifetime.

Dear David and the wonderful USA Staff,
Meagan and I would like to thank you for giving Meagan the opportunity to perform on Saturday. I can't even begin to tell you what a great time we had and what a truly learning experience this was for Meagan. The performances were awesome and we were like you said blown away by the judges at the competition. We even made some friends that I hope to stay in contact with. Though Meagan didn't place in the competition it has really driven her to work harder at reaching her goals. She was really bummed when she didn't hit her notes on the stage but like you explained so well at the show and I reiterated to her it's not about winning but enjoying the experience, which we thoroughly did.

I just want to say how much I enjoyed my first experience as a contestant for the USA World Showcase on May 24, 2008. I have never done anything like this and didn't know what to expect. The entire staff was so helpful, amazingly kind and so supportive. It is definitely an experience I would recommend to anyone that is interested. I am so thankful for Layla, Akecia and Mookie. They were all so wonderful and I am blessed to have met them. I especially want to thank Jennifer Moore. She has been such a big help, support and friend. Everything and everyone was so enjoyable and professional.
Thank you all so much for the bottom of my Texas-size heart. This was an amazing experience. I will definitely tell my grandkids about this memorable moment in my life.
You all are amazing, fabulous, terrific, wonderful and most of all...a blessing!!! :D)

I would like to thank the USA World Showcase once more for making this time around such an exciting experience. I just want to let everyone know that I had a great time and I was shocked when I won a trophy. After having a rough trip from New Jersey to Las Vegas winning one of the trophies was really a great moment in my life which I'll never forget. Thank you very much USA WORLD SHOWCASE.

Thank you, I've been doing talent shows since 1975(!!), and the USA World Showcase was as well-organized and smooth running as anything I've ever been to in all those years. That ease of logistics is one reason why I'm reconsidering my decision to retire from competitive singing. I might just have to come back and do this again. Tempt me with another good time, would you? ;-)

Hello everyone
Dave and Jennifer I want to thank you both so much for all that you've done for me. This contest gave me back my confidence after losing my identity and self esteem. Being a 7 year survivor of physical abuse, I stopped singing. Reaching after the things of God, this was the first time I've sang outside the church in 20 years. A big part of me that was gone is back. I'm going full steam ahead and God will see my dreams, heart desires, and visions manifest. Thanks again

Thanks to all the staff and judges for all of your hard work and dedication to make the USA world showcase possible! Mackenzie and I along with the rest of the family really enjoyed it. Mackenzie was not a trophy winner, but that's ok!
There was such great talent there. The trophy winners deserved their trophies. Mackenzie may go on when the voting starts. If she does.... great!!!!! If she doesn't then I wish all of you the best!! All of you are great!
It was so nice to meet new people, so many people had came from all over the world. Mackenzie and I drove all of the way from Russell Springs, Kentucky. It was a 3 day drive. It was worth every mile though. Don't hesitate if you get the chance to attend!

First let me thank you from the bottom of my heart for accepting my audition and giving me the opportunity to realize a soul-felt dream and fantasy of mine. I know you're a busy man, so I won't go into great detail about my history, but I'll give you enough to understand what this has meant to me.
As I was growing up and into my adulthood, none of my family supported me in my inclination to sing. They all told me that they knew I wanted to be a singer, but I didn't have what it took. My second husband went so far as to tell me that he was embarrassed for me because I wasn't a professional. My father told me that he would never go hear me sing or perform. My mother came once, and I do believe it was out of a feeling of obligation rather than a desire to see me do something that meant a lot to me and that I was fairly good at.
Throughout the years I dabbled in singing off and on anyway. A friend introduced me to karaoke about 4 years ago, and my life was never the same. People started to tell me that they appreciated me and some even told me that they came to karaoke specifically to hear me sing.
My dad has since passed away and now my mother has recognized me and my talent. She was in Vegas with me on June 30.
I have come to know that I'm good at what I do, but to be accepted by a huge competition like the USA World Showcase and to know that I was picked out of 40,000 people is more trophy than anyone could ever give me. As I was saying to some of my fellow competitors backstage........I am in Vegas, at the MGM Grand Hotel, singing on the "big" stage. What more could I possibly want?
I was not one of the trophy winners that the judges picked, however, I walked off of the stage there at the MGM a complete winner in my heart and in the hearts of my family (they've all come around now, lol), and the many friends who support me.
Please tell all of the judges and Jennifer of my gratitude.

I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to come to Las Vegas and compete. I came there by myself and still had a great time, thanks to all of you.
I had a great time and hope to see you all again further in the Competition. Singing is my passion, I have always loved to sing and have always wanted to be a singer, and to be noticed. No matter what happens I will be I am not giving up this is my life long dream that will not stop here. So thank you all.

Well its safe to say ...it was worth every penny and the fact that my efforts paid off has only embossed the ideas I have in making a career in the music Business!
My meeting tonight with John Wooler, will be the first real step in finally having the guidance to make my dreams a long term career goal. My family and I was very touched by the warmth of all of the people there! I was glad that I got to do the audition and meet so many very talented people from all over the United States. What I like most was everyone appreciated each other's talents and the positive energy and feedback that everyone there gave me after I sang.
I was very fortunate to be one of the judges pick to move on to the next round and was able to network with them and they gave me pointers to better myself. Thank you Daniel for your awesome comments! It didn't hurt also winning a trophy to take home to show family and friends. This was definitely a positive experience for me and my family. Kudos to the staff and management of the show! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!!

Thank you to everyone at USA World Showcase for an incredible day at the Competition! We had lots of fun, met lots of wonderful people, and enjoyed the day to the fullest! We are always treated so nice by your staff and always feel very welcome and supported by the entire spirit of the show. What a wonderful event.
My daughter Kyla Middleton, who returned as an honorable mention winner from the November, 2006 show, and who is now a Trophy Award winner, is very excited and looking forward to winning her way back to the competition again! We are telling everyone we know about USA World Showcase and what a wonderful and incredible experience it is for everyone involved.

USA World Showcase success story!!!
Thanks so much!!! Daechelle competed on the USA World Showcase in 2005. Was 2nd to "Bre" Morgan. She has accomplished so much since then. She is actually singed with the Company Director of Celine Dion's Production " A New Day" with Dennis Rodriguez of WUK Music.
Daechelle was invited to a Promotional Campaign meeting with the CEO of Geffen/ Interscope Records, Ron Fair, last Friday. Ron Fair is responsible for the successful careers of Christina Aguilara, PussyCat Dolls, Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stephani and several other artists! He loved her!!! She signed her first 5 year deal with Geffen!
